Garden Tour of Ebenezer Cemetery

Monday May 1, 2023 – Tour Ebenezer Cemetery in Milton, GA that was established in 1853 and has 600+ graves.  Shirley Lowe, Cherokee County Master Gardener, will talk about how she has lead the restoration of this historic cemetery. You will learn how they created eye-catching gardens with no budget. She will share with us xeriscape tips, how to plant the right plants in the right place, and how to rescue daffodils “in the green”. We will learn how sedums can be used in the South and see the many plants that were growing in the overgrown grass plus Shirley has a new rose that she has espaliered. Sounds like fun, doesn’t it?
