About Us
Since 1995, Cherokee County Master Gardener Extension Volunteers have partnered with UGA Extension to provide trusted, research-based gardening education. Through workshops, plant clinics, demonstration gardens, school programs, articles, and community outreach, we help Cherokee County residents cultivate healthier gardens and a more sustainable environment.
Members have been trained and certified by the University of Georgia Extension Program since 2017. Our 70 active members are proud to serve and support 3 community and demonstration gardens. In 2025 alone, our Master Gardener voluteers dedicated over 4500 hours.
