Great Southeastern Pollinator Census

Join your Cherokee County Master Gardeners for a short presentation about the roles that beneficial insects play in our environment! Then we will head outside to participate in the annual GSEPC pollinator count. This event is appropriate for all ages, so bring the whole family for a fun day counting butterflies, bees, and other pollinators that are in common in Cherokee County.

The Great Southeast Pollinator Census is a citizen science project created by the University of Georgia. This project is designed for everyone to participate and make a difference in pollinator conservation! You can count pollinators anywhere you find a plant in bloom then upload your data to the GSEPC website:
