The Great Southeast Pollinator Census is a citizen science project created by the University of Georgia. This project is designed for everyone to participate and make a difference for pollinator conservation!   Join the Cherokee County Master Gardeners at either the Canton Senior Center Demonstration Garden or the New Backyard Agricultural Education Station at Veterans Park as we observe and count pollinators for Great Georgia Pollinator Census and learn why their presence is important for biodiversity and Georgia agriculture.   Bring the kids as this event is both educational and fun for all ages.  Help make a difference.  When you register you will be able to chose either of the venues.  The Cherokee County Senior Center is located at 1001 Univeter Road, Canton, GA 30115 Map Link or you can chose The Backyard Agricultural Station at Veterans Park located at 7345 Cumming Hwy, Canton, GA 30115 Map Link  Master Gardeners will be at both locations to support and guide you for the Census
