Join Cherokee County Master Gardener Linda Freedman for this online class. Learn how to grow familiar herbs like basil, thyme, oregano, and rosemary and a perhaps some less common herbs you might never have tried like borage and marjoram. Linda will provide info to help you propagate herbs, properly prune them, and determine the best time to harvest from your herb garden. She’ll also share tips on drying herbs for use in your favorite recipes and even suggest ways to incorporate fresh herbs in floral bouquets.
Linda spent 5 years in the industry selling herbs and flowers from her commercial cutting garden to florists and at local Farmer’s Markets in western NY. She has been a Cherokee County Master Gardener since 2019.
