Local artist and expert quilter, Fran Fister presented the Backyard Agriculture Education Station with a beautifully painted and framed barn quilt. The design prominently features a bright red apple at its center surrounded by contrasting triangles in yellow, green and blue. The unique design will give the little red barn at the station a touch of character and nod to an American agricultural tradition that dates back nearly three hundred years.
Thank you Fran for sharing your creativity with the community!
